What to do if telemetry won't connect to the MCSoft system (connection-timeout message)

If upon pressing the button for connection to the telemetry system the message "connection - timeout" appears and the system is connected to the USB port, it is likely that the COM port for communication is not recognized. To reset it, connect the system and open the Windows Device Manager and locate the port number under the item ports (COM5 in the figure):


N.B. If you do not see the device try to reinstall the drivers by downloading the file at this link and launching it.


Then go to the MCSoft Configuration:

under "Telemetry" and set the port detected as shown in the figure:

press confirm and retry the connection.
